Aster "Pionovidnaja" (mix)
Peony-flowered Aster (mixture of colors).
Magnificent bouquets of chic shades. The plant is 50-65 cm high, obverse-pyramidal in shape. Peduncles are strong, 40-45 cm long. Inflorescences are hemispherical or spherical, double, 8-10 cm in diameter, 8-12 pieces per plant. Ligulate flowers are tightly pressed to each other and bent inward.
Blooms in August-September.
Used very widely: for planting in mixed flower beds in groups, in borders - in rows and for cutting.
AGROTECHNICS.
The plant prefers an open sunny place, but tolerates partial shade. It grows best on light, fertile soils. Does not tolerate the introduction of organic fertilizers in the year of planting.
Seeds are sown from mid-February to April. Seeding depth is 0.5 cm. At a soil temperature of +15°C, seedlings appear on the 7-14th day. After 3-4 weeks, the seedlings are pricked out and grown at a temperature of +12+15°C. Seedlings are planted in the ground in the second half of May, the distance between plants is 25-30 cm.
